The foundation of any solid breeding program is found in the broodmare paddock.
Greenfields has worked diligently at establishing and replenishing its broodmare band. Many of our mares are daughters or grandaughters of Findeln Blue Danube, who won many, many championships in hand and sired many show ring winners. Brockwell Spider and GlanNant Tango have also played a role in our foundation stock.
Each year we carefully assess the attributes of each individual while deciding on the match that will best continue the Greenfields line. We are always striving for beautiful, athletic ponies with great temperaments.
Our original focus on Section B ponies continues even as we explore the excitement of half-Welsh crosses and continue to enjoy the Section Ds.
